A Little About Me

Since 2011 I have worked with clients seeking help for a wide variety of relational and personal challenges. I am most fulfilled when working with clients who are committed to their own healing journey and particularly enjoy working with couples, men’s issues, struggles in the arena of gender and/or sexuality, and spirituality.

I have completed certification as a CSAT (Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist) through Iitap, an organization on the forefront of bringing hope and healing to the lives of men and women affected by compulsive sexual behaviors.

My clients often tell me they appreciate my ability to see through the “clutter” of problems and directly and compassionately address the heart of an issue.  I am passionate about seeing my clients thrive as they grow beyond feeling “stuck”, receive inter and intra-personal healing, and walk forward with freedom. One of the best ways I have found in doing this is through incorporating Brainspotting, a new clinically proven method of treating unresolved trauma. To learn more about Brainspotting check out my blog post here.

With previous career experience in the entertainment industry, I particularly enjoy working with those wrestling through and navigating this difficult arena. Hollywood can be foreboding with many unique stressors and life-circumstances. (I see you working actor who films in Canada and lives in LA and is trying to manage career and family!) My extensive personal experiences in the industry afford me an insider understanding of this particular lifestyle and I love to come alongside and support those both working in the industry and their family members struggling with the balance and boundaries this industry requires.

After calling Los Angeles home for 18 years, 2020 brought some changes (to us all!) and I relocated to Roswell, GA.  I’m grateful to be able to continue the work with my California clients via zoom, and now get to extend my practice to North Atlanta.  My wife and I have 3 children and are continually learning how to navigate careers, parenting, and the mountain of emails we seem to get for school and extra-curricular scheduling!  Plus, we inherited a Koi pond when we bought our Georgia house, and it turns out watching and caring for those fish is the self-care I never knew I needed.
